A company that was created with a very clear idea and purpose, which is to offer a natural product with the highest quality and technical solution that achieves maximum customer satisfaction.

But not only through our wide range of products, but also with the most complicated architectural solutions.

Our Porcelain’s DNA

Technological innovation, product research and passion for design is our DNA.

For more than twenty years, Porcelánicos HDC has translated the taste and quality of the “Tile of Spain” in international markets. Which is something we do by including natural products, used for centuries, such as porcelain tiles, ceramics and white body wall tiles. An ancient material made with processes that have achieved excellent results through research and technology

Our raw Materials

Water, clay, quartz and minerals cooked at elevated temperatures. This is the original structure of each ceramic product, which has a wide scope of application, through a certified production process. This process determines the excellence and quality of each collection. Therefore, the end result is a product of high quality standards.

Porcelain Tiles

80% of the Porcelánicos HDC collections are made of very high quality porcelain tiles. A ceramic material that represents technological excellence and maximum functionality for all types of projects. But what are really porcelain tiles?

Technically, the UNE standards define porcelain tiles as a product that has a water absorption coefficient of less than 0.5% (UNE-EN-ISO 10545-3 Bla).

Likewise, these tiles are a hard and compact product, obtained by mixing clay, feldspars, kaolin and sand, ground and transformed into amalgam (ceramic slip), finely atomized and then pressed.

Is in the dough firing process, where temperatures of 1220º C are reached, when its vitrification is determined and the ceramic product is given its sturdiness, impermeability and long life

White Body Wall Tiles

On the other hand, white body tiles represent 20 % of our catalogue. These are used as a cladding and their composition gives them a white colour, to which enamels get attached. The result is a superior quality finish due to its finesse, texture, surface’s colour transmission and elegance. This features make this material highly valued by the best designers and interior designers.

The production process of white body tiles is basically very similar to that of porcelain tiles, varying the composition of the raw materials that form its support and without attaining such low water absorption values, which is why its use as flooring is not advised in general.

Differences between indoors and outdoors porcelain tiles

Indoors porcelain tiles are an excellent choice for all types of flooring or cladding in kitchens, bathrooms and living rooms. These are resistant to the effects of chemical products, humidity, temperature variations, scratches and stains, while being more hygienic and ecological. Therefore, these have obvious advantages in different situations.

On the other hand, swimming pools, outdoor areas and commercial spaces need special anti-slip requirements. For this reason, porcelain tiles for exteriors, on its own, gathers a series of advantages over other products, being also more hygienic, ecological, anti-slip and resistant to chemical products. A porcelain tile that has also a very aesthetic finish.
